Bazis and Johnson named 2012 Attorneys of the Year by Minnesota Lawyer

Greene Espel is pleased to announce that Jeanette Bazis and Mark Johnson have been named 2012 Attorneys of the Year by Minnesota Lawyer. Jeanette and Mark were recognized for their work representing the Anoka-Hennepin School District in litigation and settlement negotiations to resolve allegations relating to bullying within the district’s schools. The negotiations resulted in a consent decree aimed at furthering the district’s efforts to effectively prevent, detect, and address bullying and harassment among its students.

Minnesota Lawyer recognized Jeanette and Mark alongside the district’s general counsel, Paul Cady, and other attorneys who were involved in the case for “working together to find a resolution that now serves as a national model for schools around the country.” Jeanette and Mark will be honored at a special reception hosted by Minnesota Lawyer on February 21, 2013 and in a special supplement published in Minnesota Lawyer on February 25, 2013.  Contact Jeanette Bazis for information about Greene Espel's governmental liability practice
