Baker discusses impact of Supreme Court's Gilbert decision for American Planning Association and International Municipal Lawyers Association
John Baker was a featured panelist for the International Municipal Lawyers Association webinar on July 20 entitled Signs: A Different Kind of Land Use (especially after the Reed decision). The panel discussed approaches for writing and enforcing sign laws as well as the impact of the Supreme Court’s Reed v. Town of Gilbert decision on sign regulation. 
 
On Tuesday, July 21 John discussed A Sign Regulation Apocalypse? Understanding the U.S. Supreme Court’s Decision in Reed v. Town of Gilbert as part of an American Planning Association webinar. In addition to outlining the facts of the case and the Court’s rationale for its decision, the webinar addressed the impact of the decision on sign code drafting and enforcement.
