Matt Forsgren was a panelist at a CLE co-hosted by the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and Fredrikson & Byron on May 2, 2017. The panel discussed the roles of prosecutors, private attorneys, and forensic accountants in embezzlement investigations. Matt discussed reasons for underreporting in embezzlement cases; mistakes to avoid in preserving privileged information during embezzlement cases; and strategies for advising clients about how to proceed upon discovering that they have been victimized by embezzlement.

 

In his practice, Matt represents clients in investigations, civil, criminal, administrative and proceedings nationally and internationally. He also lectures on Investigations as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of St. Thomas Law School. Matt is co-chair of the White Collar Crime Section of the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
