Sybil founded the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Practice. She has also designed and teaches award-winning Diversity & Inclusion programming around the country, including to audiences at Thomson Reuters, Cargill, Resideo, the Federal Defenders’ Office of the Dakotas, the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum, the Minnesota Department of Health, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, the Ohio State Bar, as well as multiple cities and law firms.  In recognition of her efforts, Minnesota Lawyer selected Sybil as a Diversity & Inclusion Honoree in 2018, and the Hennepin County Bar Association awarded her its Excellence Award for Advancing Diversity and Inclusion in 2019.

Sybil is also a passionate and uncommonly persuasive advocate with substantial first-chair trial and arbitration experience, as well as experience before the PTAB. She represents Fortune 100 companies as they navigate disputes with contractors, clients, and business partners, including post-transaction disputes involving net working capital or post-closing adjustments. In 2020, Chambers USA listed Sybil as a “notable practitioner,” who attracted “significant praise for her litigation expertise from a range of market sources.” “She knows the rules and law to a tee, which allows her to focus on strategy,” said one client.
