Overview

Taofikat brings her extensive critical thinking and analytical reasoning skills to Greene Espel. Prior to joining Greene Espel, Taofikat clerked for Magistrate Judge Elizabeth Cowan Wright of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota and Chief Bankruptcy Judge Karen K. Specie of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Florida. Taofikat also practiced in a national law firm in Chicago, Illinois, where she obtained favorable results for her clients in state and federal courts including in bankruptcy and products liability matters.

Taofikat holds an MBA from Stetson University and graduated from Stetson University College of Law with distinction. She received the Dean's award for her graduating class in recognition of her extraordinary service to the law school and was recognized as an outstanding student. During law school, Taofikat participated in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot competition and served as a student coach to participants in the 2018 competition held in Vienna. Taofikat also served as a research and teaching assistant.
