Bazis Speaks at 2016 School Law Conference

Jeanette Bazis was a panelist at the 2016 School Law Conference on November 11, 2016. The moderated panel discussed “Tenure/Continuing Contract Laws: Are They Failing Our Students?” In the wake of the successful motion to dismiss filed by Greene Espel on behalf of the Anoka Hennepin School District, the panelists offered insights on whether constitutional challenges to the teacher tenure/continuing contract laws are an effective tool for educational reform.

Jeanette advises school districts on many of their most pressing employment, civil rights, and constitutional issues, and on compliance with statutes governing campaign-finance reporting.
