News & Updates
Minnesota Lawyer has named Greene Espel attorneys Farah Famouri and Kshithij Shrinath as 2025 "Up & Coming Attorneys." Each year, Minnesota Lawyer selects a small group of attorneys in their first ten years of practice who distinguish themselves through their professional accomplishments, leadership, and service to the community.
Farah is a dedicated advocate, representing clients in civil matters across public and private sectors, as well as in criminal defense. Farah has valuable expertise in the state court system, having clerked for four judges on the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Farah's commitment to justice extends beyond her practice through substantial pro bono work, enthusiastic community service, and valuable contributions to the firm and legal community. Farah serves on the Board of the Jungle Theater in Minneapolis and chairs the firm’s Community Committee. She is also a thought leader on topics related to her practice, including Ethics and Bias in AI, Marijuana Law and Employment Policies, and Constitutional Issues for Public Sector Lawyers and HR.
Kshithij is a skilled advocate in complex, high-impact litigation, securing groundbreaking victories to protect the fundamental human rights of fellow Minnesotans while delivering exceptional results for clients across diverse industries. Kshithij has particularly distinguished himself through transformative pro bono work to enforce basic constitutional rights in immigration detention—including as co-counsel on a habeas petition for a young father detained by ICE because of his political speech, and on emergency litigation for students facing deportation due to illegal visa revocation decisions. In addition to his pro bono work, Kshithij is representing clients in a range of civil litigation, including auditing, construction, and indemnification disputes.
