In-house lawyers often find themselves advising business clients on transactions, disputes, employment issues, and regulatory matters—sometimes in a single stream of communication. 

This CLE will provide a brief overview and reminder of attorney-client privilege principles, followed by discussion of real-world hypotheticals to help in-house attorneys navigate these situations and preserve privilege. We will also cover the increasing use of artificial intelligence tools, by lawyers and non-lawyers alike, and the privilege traps that can create.
