The 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® recognizes eight Greene Espel attorneys. Best Lawyers® compiles its annual recognition by a comprehensive peer review survey which is designed to capture the consensus opinion of leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geographical area and legal practice area. Approximately 5% of practicing lawyers in the United States are recognized in the latest edition.

John Baker has been given particular recognition this year and was selected as the 2026 "Lawyer of the Year" in Minneapolis for Land Use and Zoning Law. "Lawyer of the Year" recognitions are awarded to individual lawyers with the highest overall peer-feedback for a specific practice area and geographic region. Only one lawyer is recognized as the "Lawyer of the Year" for each specialty and location.
