Mark Esqueda, an American citizen and military veteran born in Texas and raised in Minnesota, was twice denied a US passport by the United States government after it questioned his citizenship.

Greene Espel attorneys will once again present at the nation's premier employment law conference. The Upper Midwest Employment Law Institute, hosted by the Minnesota CLE, features two days of practical and current analyses of issues and developments facing employers.

The 2018 Business Law Institute will include Greene Espel attorneys Jenny Gassman-Pines, Faris Rashid, and X. Kevin Zhao.

In celebration of Women's History Month, we honor the women of Greene Espel for their tremendous contributions to our firm, our profession, our clients, and their communities. Throughout the month, we will spotlight some of their stories and inspirations in their continuous efforts to advance women's rights and ensure equality in our profession and beyond.

Two national trade associations, the American Public Power Association and the Large Public Power Council, retained Greene Espel to persuade the U.S. Supreme Court to grant certiorari in a case important to their members. On December 1, 2017, the Supreme Court did just that. The amicus brief was written by John Baker, Jenny Gassman-Pines, Jeya Paul, and Chris Schmitter.
